Sidetime Food launched with Chef Rocco DiSpirito, Chef Christine Lau, and Robert Chang, longtime friends who have both collaborated and have had long conversations about food, hospitality, and supporting the industry.

Robert’s work in both cloud-based and SaaS technology platforms, combined with his long commitment towards social impact, equity, and access for underserved communities, led him to develop Sidetime as a platform for expanding access to timely, career-making advice across a range of industries. Chef DiSpirito and Chef Lau have extensive critically acclaimed industry experience across food and hospitality. Sidetime Food enables chefs, restauranteurs, home chefs, and foodies across the country to connect 1-on-1 with recognized chefs and restauranteurs. These chefs and restauranteurs make themselves available in a secure and scalable fashion in order to generate additional income or to support their favorite charitable organizations and causes.
