    If you're interested in entering the scripted editing world, it is important to consider the pros and cons of pursuing a path into feature films or television. We will discuss your long term interests and I will lay out what I see are the key differences and trade-offs between the two worlds. We will discuss the duties and day-to-day, project-to-project realities of PAs, assistants and editors in each world. I can also offer tips and strategies for networking, advancement and relationship management.

  • Notes on Your Cut (feature film 60 to 120 min.)

    For this session, you will send me an online link to your film as well as a summary of the kind of feedback you are looking for. I will watch the film and provide you with detailed notes that will include suggestions on overall approach, specific cuts or trims, as well as possible editorial techniques you might use to achieve your goals. I will also send you a written summary (with timecodes) of my notes.
